Here's My 1966 Malibu

Let me tell you a little about my car.
Make: Chevy
Model: Malibu
Year: 1966
Engine: 388 Chevy Stroker
Trans: Turbo 350 With 3500 Stall
Horsepower: 410 Horsepower @ 4500 RPM 420 FTLBS Torque @ 5500 RPM
Paint: Most of the body work was completed before I bought this car, my father and I painted the car dark gray with purple flames. The car looked really nice, but just didn't seem to please me, so I took the car to Nextday Paint & Body in Victorville California. They had there $300 special paint job. The paint is the only thing I didn't make such a big deal about. I've seen so many guys spend thousands of dollars and hours on their paint jobs. The first time a child at a car show rubs up against it the owner freaks out screaming at the kid, making them cry and maybe giving them a negative impression about classic cars. Classic cars are to be enjoyed, people like that should just bring pictures of their car to each show instead of making some 5 year old kid cry.
Gearing: Right now I'm running a 10-bolt posi unit out of a '67 GTO with "4:10" gears.
Interior: The interior has stock appearance. I changed the carpet, seat upholstery, door panels, added a cd player two 12" Sub woofer, B&M Street Bandit Shifter, after market gauges, the inside looks like every other '66 Malibu
Wheels: Crager SS 17" X 9.5" All Around With 245 45 17 Super Sports On The Front And 275 45 17 Drag Radials On The Back
Engine: The Engine Is Pretty, Lots Of Chrome, Demon 750 Carb, Holly Dominator Intake, Roller Rockers, Double Roller Chain, 5.7 Long Rods,3 Angle Valve Job, Stainless Valves 1.940/1.5, K-Motion Springs & Retainers, 7 Degree Locks, Melling Oil Pump, Hyd Cam .480 Lift 286 Duration, The List Goes For Ever
The Trunk: I go to car shows all the time people spend some serious money on their cars, some people need a trailer just to haul around all their cleaners and props and stuff. I have to say about half of the cars I see have very boring trunks. No carpet, no nothing just a tire and maybe a tool box. I gotta have carpet at least, so I took my car to Victor at Sounds Unlimited In Barstow California, He installed the 12" subs carpeted the back and just cleaned up the back for me. I must say it's nothing special but at least I have carpet back there....
